Keynotes

The CASE District I Conference is pleased to announce two exciting keynote speakers! Nationally and internationally reknown planned giving speaker, John Brown, will be the opening keynote on Monday, March 9th. On Tuesday, March 10th, be entertained by comedian Tom Cotter whose comedy has been featured on Comedy Central, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and many other shows.

CFRE logoCASE is an approved provider for CFRE Continuing Education points/contact hours for select CASE conferences.

Full participation in the CASE District I conference is applicable for 22 points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.

CASE District I is pleased to present a conference for Advancement professionals to assist you in Charting The Course of your career. The 2009 Conference will be held at the brand new Westin Boston Waterfront, in Boston’s Seaport District.

Whether you are a new advancement professional, mid-career person or a key decision maker/chief advancement officer, the CASE District I Conference will provide you with the important navigational tools and inspiration you will need in Charting Your Course in advancement.

Building on the success of last year's conference, the 2009 District I Conference will begin on Sunday, March 8th with Pre-Conference Workshops for New Advancement Professionals and Emerging Leaders. The full conference program, which will commence on Monday, March 9th, will offer an array of keynote speakers, program sessions and table seminars throughout the three-day conference in areas such as Alumni Relations, Career Development, Community Colleges, Development, Independent Schools and Marketing and Communication. In keeping with tradition, CASE District I has put out a Call for Proposals to populate the 2009 conference program, so be sure to look for friends and colleagues among our list of remarkable speakers.

We’ve also made room in the conference schedule to allow for more networking and socializing as well as many opportunities for meeting with exhibitors and sponsors that can help you implement ideas gathered at the conference.

The best advancement minds from this dynamic district will be in attendance at this comprehensive conference geared for all advancement professionals. Over 700 participants are expected from across the district representing a number of diverse institutions. So mark your calendars – Monday, March 9th through Wednesday, March 11th!
